Recytex GmbH & Co. KG, founded in 1993, is part of the Gebrüder Achter group of companies.

Recytex is a flexible and efficient developer and supplier of nonwovens and acoustic solutions based on them. In addition, Recytex produces coated yarns that are used in the automotive, carpet and furniture industries.

Recytex can rightly call itself a pioneer in the field of fleeces made from recycled industrial waste for automotive interiors.

In the 1990s, a closed material cycle was conceived and implemented ready for series production in the "Tandem" project through close cooperation with the then Mercedes-Benz AG and two partners from the supplier industry, a textile producer and a seat manufacturer. The textile waste from the various production stages is still collected, processed and reprocessed into nonwovens as a substitute for PU foams.

Due to the versatile properties of the flecces, further areas of application have emerged. For example, our flecces are used as sound and thermal insulation products in ship engine rooms and in cabin construction. They can also be used as sound absorbers for screen systems, ceiling panels and acoustic pictures. We supply the sound absorbers as raw material, cut to size, laminated, printed or embossed.

In addition to manufacturing sound absorbers and sound and thermal insulation products, Recytex produces coated yarns. Here, core-yarns made from a wide variety of materials (PES, PA, glass, wire, monofilament) are coated with extrusion-grade thermoplastics (TPU, TPE, PVC, PE, PP). In addition to the special design effects, additional functions, such as persistent or conductive, can also be integrated.
